My boy was NOT a fan of the Vac or the Dremel. We had to bait him with Yoghound ice cream. We could Dremel his nails while his face was in that.

We lost my Chewie last week, he went fast from cancer.
I've had him since he was 6 weeks old and I was closer to him than all but a few humans. He turned 10 May 1st and was gone June 1st.
He really was the greatest dog ever.
Best eye contact I've ever seen, most athletic, friendliest, most affectionate dog I've ever met, all NO BS. He once jumped into a friend's above ground pool from the ground because he was pissed we were swimming and he wasn't allowed in. Made it over and no one there could believe what they just saw. Could jump 15+ feet pond jump easy.
He chased off a moose 20 times his size out of our yard after it stumbled upon us washing the boat a couple years ago. That was scary.
He never missed a beat or slowed down in his later years until the cancer, always was the life of the party and would run circles around dogs 1/2 his age.
Rest well Chewie, I'll never forget the love you gave and always remember the best of you.

God has a plan for you Chewie and somehow I bet it involves swimming with kids in heaven. With a heart as big as yours the time at the rainbow bridge will pass quickly enough until your mate comes for you. Then let the "play" begin. Because all will be well.
