Let's See Your Dogs!!

My new pup Kai. German shepherd chow mix. Got her at a local animal control shelter. Someone found her in a carrier in a dumpster. No clue why anyone would do this. She's super smart and is pretty well behaved. Growing super fast.

 

Awww, what a sweetheart! Idk how someone could do such a thing to her, wish people like that were not granted the right to live. People that abuse animals are as low as it gets, just pieces of shit.

 

Agreed. I think it should be eye for an eye, but that's not prolifically correct I suppose.

A friend of mine has a male, about 4 years old. Great dog. They are getting a puppy in a few weeks too.

That's a cool dog!! Hard to find and expensive.

 

My sisters 3 year old min-pin was hit and killed this morning. Worst part is the asshole who did it left him in the street for them to find when her friend went to pick her up. I understand it's horrible to hit a dog but to leave him on the road pisses me off

She lives on a dirt road that leads to a dead end so rarely any cars around. Slow speed limit as well so more than likely they were driving too fast down the hill. Her dog never roamed the road either

I live in northern CA and my local Ridgeback rescue always has some ridgies up for adoption. My friend used to foster for them, she had an awesome big male dog who acted like a working type ridgie, he was a re-home when his owners moved. He was stunning, though needed more management than my pit bull around other animals and also around people, but I think that's reasonably typical for some lines.

A lot of people don't realize they were originally bred to be used for hunting lions. They're kind of pig headed but fiercely loyal. They make wonderful pets in the right environment (which is to say not everyone who wants one should own one-same for a lot of breeds.).

then a few months ago i took komo to the vet to get her shots up to date and we were in the waiting room alone and this woman walked in with this pug NOT ON A LEASH and komo wanted it for a snack she was so close it wasnt even funny scared the woman to death and she got mad at me blah blah control your dog how about no dont walk your tiny ass little dog past my beast of a dog especially if yours isnt on a leash
