Turns out the problem with my Dutch Shephards ears were allergies. Not sure what from but they put some stuff in his ears that are apperently taking the itch away, His ears were flaking pretty bad so im glad hes got some relief.

Awe im sorry thats sad. But i think you should give him the best life possible and not worry about his behavior. Dont let him bite anyone and just keep him happy for as long as he has left.

Yeah, it's a Ton more work, but he has very very happy days, but he just can't seem to snap out of this behavior.. Ugh 2 years of constant barking every night he goes to bed.. But I love the little fucker even if his joy is tainted . In sure he will last another 5 years at least

So update on my dog Cooper. He finally was able to go home Saturday! He was at the vet for like 4 weeks I think and had 4 surgeries during that time... Not looking forward to that bill...

But I honestly think if we would have taken him anywhere else they would have given up. This guy is old school and is really awesome. He didn't really want to give him back... Haha

Its funny how much attitude our dogs can have, My dog has more personality then some woman ive dated. For some reason my side of the bed is always 10x more comfortable then the side thats completely empty.

Thanks! After his last surgery everything was finally opened up good enough for him to pee as well as all the kidney stones removed. It was mostly powdery sand like substance that was left that kept blocking everything up.

He now has to be on special food to help prevent kidney stones, and we're also probably going to stop giving him well water just in case that has anything to do with it.

Pics will come! Probably take the guy trail riding and fishing when I'm home next weekend. :D

    Thanks!

The neighbor behind me has a dog that barks constantly. They've got a large Newfie as well and the little one starts and the Newfie isn't far behind.

I've talked to the owners and they try, albeit half-assed attempts, but it doesn't change. Very frustrating and I don't know how long it will be before Riley becomes fence aggressive as a result-I pray that doesn't happen. I like happy neighbors.

Had a beagle that barked - got a "barking" shock collar - soon as he barks he gets a shock- (you can regulate strength of shock). Put the collar on him, sent him in yard and watched. Within 5 minutes he decided to howl - During first howl he abruptly shook his head and stopped, somewhat confused. His second howl was his last as he realized that he was causing the shock by howling. Quiet restored to neighborhood - problem solved.
