His ears are healing :) Vet said they were allergies but the gel they put in them would take a couple days to fully get rid of the itching and irritation.

I think hes good :) Just a fluke last night.

Ya my boy is just turning 5, I didn't get him as a pup I got him around 2 from a friend her dad didn't want him around anymore.

Ya I took him to the vet and she wanted to charge me $280 to knock him out and do x-ray's, when we initially went she said she couldn't do a proper assessment because he kept moving because she asked her assistant to hold his head, I immediately told her no I'll get him to lay down and he'll stay and she can do her test but nope she wouldn't listen cause he's a pitbull and she wasn't comfortable  so needless to say things didn't go well and of course she wants to charge me crazy money.

Bear in mind that Labs have a tendency to show their teeth when they're happy to see you. I've had several greet me that way, but no other breeds seem to do it. Then again, the snapping warrants immediate assertion.

The little monster King is officially 3 months old today.

Can't wait to finally finish his distemper/parvo shots so I can take him out around the neighborhood and beaches.

I've seen and had several that do it. It's obviously a grin, whether you believe dogs have that capability or not - but it comes with a ferociously wagging tail and intimidating kisses.

I think you're talking about "submissive smiling." My pit bull does it to me and a couple other favorite people every so often. My boyfriend had a black Lab when he was younger who did it ALL the time and it would freak out non-dog-folks bc they just looked at the teeth & not the rest of the (very friendly) picture. lol
