    Never seen them do it and besides having owned two, I hang out with them all the time and never have seen. Now, I'm gonna have to look for it.

    I had Riley for a couple of weeks before I gave him a name. I figured his name would come to me as I got to know him and it's true ;)

    Yup, while I haven't personally seen labs do this, I know a lot of dogs do the teethy grin. My gf's sister's little mutt does it when she's playing, and my friend's 1.5 yr old Aussie does it ALL the time while wagging her tail greeting people:

    Shiba Inu's have a grin as well, but usually without teeth. Just lookup "Shiba smile"
