    Pup is 100% with recall and stop on the whistle, and about 90% on direction changes.

    Yep, I kept this one because of his nose. I have had a lot of hunting dogs, but none with a nose like this. He maps air scents to ground scents for quick tracks. I tell him to find something, he finds it with pretty impressive speed. He knows Deer, squirrel, quail, duck, grouse, pheasant, and we are currently working on rabbit.

    Took him out for a test last weekend in deer filled woods and told him to find squirrels. He got me the daily limit in a hour and a half:
