I snapped this photo of Klink on Christmas with every intention of posting here. I am just getting around to it now.
We adopted Klink from a shelter about 3 1/2 years ago. He is a German Shepard and was found in a barn tied up to a pole all day. The owner was convinced to put him up for adoption by one of the farm hands.
We got Klink home from the shelter and less then 24 hours he became very sick. His intestine had twisted and our vet told us he wouldn't survive the surgery. We took him to another vet who said lets try the surgery and see what happens. Well Klink survived the surgery and we enjoyed him for the next 3 1/2 years.
The day after this picture was snapped Klink became very lethargic. We knew something was wrong. We brought him to the vet who ran some tests and told us that he had a tumor that burst near his heart. There was nothing we could do.
Klink was the kindest, gentle giant. He showed us unconditional love and loyalty. I miss him everyday. It is amazing how these pets become such a part of the family. Rest in Peace Klink. You will always be our "Klinker"

Congrats on finding one- in my mind, the best of all possible dog mixes. My Zeuski was the smartest of all my buddies, and I really enjoyed his toothy grin when I came home from work.

Nothing much. I haven't been bitten by the mod bug. A little plasti dip. And a set of Wet Okole seat covers with gun pouch.
