Mals have brown eyes- blue is a husky trait.
I figure a Malemute is basically a wolf with a pedigree- stockier, but damned near every other trait

Great looking pup. I almost ended up with a Vizsla, I just liked the GSP breeder better. I've been thinking about getting a second dog so that my girl is not alone all day while I'm at work. Might just go Vizsla with the second.

This is Ace. We got him when he was born 2 years ago(well, a few weeks after). He's a full-blooded yorkie who shares the same birthday as my fiancée (May 6), so he just turned 2 a few days ago. When we got him, he was completely black and brown, but now he's entirely gray. At first, I was pissed b/c she got such a girly dog. Now, I'd take a bullet for him and have almost gotten in fights with my friends from them talking junk lol. It's crazy how they grow on you

    When we first got him:

Vizsla makes an excellent combo for a GSP. Both are high energy and will exercise each other. I could hunt over a Vizsla very similar to a GSP.

EDIT: The Vizsla is generally not as much of a problem solver as a GSP when hunting. But if you don't plan to hunt them, that probably ain't gonna matter too much.

Yeah, I've been told owning two is easier. Not to concerned with hunting as my GSP is an excellent hunter. My only concern is the Vizslas I've been around have been extremely spastic. I think it's more to do with the owner not exercising/training the dog like they should, but it's a little concerning. My GSP is so laid back and calm, yet will work/play all day if you want.

Yeah, probably not enough exercise. They make good guard dogs too, they are generally very protective.

Jayce is spending time with some friends this weekend. She has never seen a cat up close so she is very intrigued.

She'll be less intrigued after a swat to the snout. My little one had her first interaction with a cat a couple weeks ago. Let's say, she's not on friendly terms with said cat. The cat has claws.
