She perks right up when we go in the big truck lol not sure why. Sad she will be gone soon but an almost 16 years has been great

 

That last part is the hard part. Like you said, the time we get with them is great.

 

And here I thought my dog had big ears.... and tongue.

Haha looks like they tag teamed the Christmas tree!! How did you get them to let you do that

 

I couldn't ask for more patient dogs. Very tolerant with me when the camera comes out. The trick is to stay as calm as possible and not get frustrated when they move EVERY time you try and snap the shot... Hahaha! Goose (the black one) has that look like "C'mon with this crap, man... Every year, it's something different..."

 

Haha my pup is still on hyper mode, he thinks he is supposed to get wild when I just look at him much less try to snap a pic

 

If you can't tell by my the screen name, I also have 2 GSP's haha. Very cool breed of dogs.

 

We have a 12 yr old (black)and started prepping for the only bad day with a dog by scoring her some company that is now 1yr 8 mnth old (tan) and the young'un needed someone to play since the older one can't keep up so now we have an 8 mnth old (white) . So very entertaining, loving, comical, disturbing when they eat the house but completely worth it. Look at this pile of klown possey craziness...........

 

I've been a Chesapeake Bay Retriever guy for many years. She's my first GSP, and I couldn't be happier.

 

And this is Pearl, a cattle dog. I got her the boots so we could go walking in the desert south of Tucson, AZ.
Have not yet managed to persuade her to wear them all. Another project in progress...

 

Good luck with that! I used to hunt quail out there. I watched a lot of dogs get knocked out of commission because of that terrain.

Ended up learning how to stalk coveys and call them without a dog.
