Girls don't do anything but dig holes in the yard and kill moles and squirrels. Annie used to love to de-stuff toys within 5 minutes of getting them, but not anymore.

A couple years ago. This was home alone test #1, for two hours.
He's much better now and has run of the house. But that first time didn't work out so well.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
Sorry no real damage yet. He is still a little young for that. He just likes to eat the house plants and drag all my clothes out of my room.

Wiley, the girlfriend, and I broke in a new tent this weekend in Ocala National Forest. Wiley only loves camping because there's an endless amount of sticks to play with.

I know the feeling, and it's hard to not blame yourself for it. My adopted greyhound was similar when we first got him, but he's getting much better now after a month or two. He's still very attached, but doesn't whine nearly as much when he's crated and we leave.

I can provide an update on him now, he (Oscar) is doing better. I brought in my sister's dog (Sophie - 7 years old) to live with us and give him a friend. well, they didn't get along day 1 and got some major butt whoopings. She's always been an outside dog so she hasn't really had rules and now she's having to learn the chain of command from me, and doesn't seem to love that lol. When I was spanking her she turned to bite me and got a good smack there for that, hasn't acted up since. She did get after Oscar once and he is somewhat scared of her but they do ok for the most part. Today is actually their first day at home for more than 2 hours alone so we will see how it goes..
