I mean he rides in the back of the truck
He only gets to come in the house and lay on his dog bed in the family room at night
Has a doghouse in the garage

Laila is a bed dog, she loves the wind. Probably from riding as a puppy tucked into my leather jacket on the motorcycle. Wish I still had those pics. If my tailgate is down she's jumping into the bed, she's always ready to roll!

 

Mine is in a crate, secured by tie downs. No hair inside and it's safe. You hit the brakes when they are loose in the back or loose in the cab, bad things happen to them.

 

I wish I still had my truck, so I could crate my dog in one of these in the bed. Expensive as hell, but easily worth it to save the life of my best friend. Their crash test videos are nothing short of amazing.

EDIT: They're also the only approved crate by the center for pet safety who do a whole lot of independent testing.

Passenger seat since day one! You should invest in a Furminator. It was hard for me to justify spending $50 on a dog brush, but after finally breaking down and getting it, I've realized it was worth every penny. It does an excellent job of keeping shedding to a minimum.
