Adorable. Is Laila like a toy boxer? I've never heard of a toy boxer but I initially thought you are celebrating 9 months here until I found a pic of Treto at nine months. And, please, this is not a "my dog is bigger than your dog" post. Your dog is adorable. Just curious what she is? Treto is 25 at the shoulder now. He is a big boy!

Usually have it much snugger and higher up. Her neck has gotten big though. Adjusted her collar to it's last setting. Added a link to the pinch collar and now it slips a bit. Just pulled one off again tonight.

As for the size. I went to a local dog training/kennel in town. Told them I needed a pinch collar for a Rottweiler. That's the size they recommended to me.

The reason why most use the smaler one is for that exact reason. You can add a link or subtract one and it makes it so you can get a snugger fit. With the big ones it's too hard to get a good fit. Also the smaller one has more links so it provides a more even and equal pressure.

I can see how that makes some sense. But are those tiny ones strong enough for a +70lb Rottie pup? lol

This is Sienna. She doesn't like being brushed.

Yes as long as it's a quality brand like herm sprenger. I know a bunch of gsd's with them who are 80-100lbs my pup is 60 right now. It's only used for light corrections

I use a herm sprenger 2.25 in black with 1 additional link.

My dogs disliked brushing a lot. Then they tolerated it. Now they jockey for position to get their turn.

No shes regular ol boxer, shes about 67 pounds. Unsure how tall but here's some scale. I'd say shes a bit below average size from others I've personally met.

There Is no hope for this one. I might as well be bathing her in acid she hates it so much.

I saved about 3 months of her hair and I'm pretty sure I could have re-stuffed a couple of couch cushions with it:(
