Took my goofball for a hike today. He did really good on about 8 miles of trails, some of which were very steep both up and down. Afterwards he got a much needed bath and some pizza crusts. He's currently having crazy dog dreams on the foot of the bed.

    I love this dog.

Our rescue Astro, didn't speak, growl, mutter, or whine for 10 days, so we thought that maybe because he had been so miss treated and kinda left for dead that he had lost his voice. He would climb stairs, wouldn't get in the truck. Been two months now and he has a voice and is great with the gurls and walks really well on the leash and overall just super awesome. He is around 7 months according the vet.
He has no issue with stairs and always wants to get in the truck now. Still is really indifferent to other people, so we take him to the fly where he can socialize with other dogs and their people. He is coming around, but will take time.

Lol, he's 10 months and in the shred every soft toy phase. Hoping I can introduce dog beds again soon, but if I were to do it now, I'd have to get a second and third job to pay for all of them, lol.

    Some really cool shit

No more of those for me. That's why I got rid of the 4Runner for a Taco. No more stinking dog hair in the cab. Everything goes in the bed.

My road trip buddy for the day! Went down to NC to get a cap, and was a total of 13.5 hours on the road. Tony was loving it! He just sleeps the whole time.

I have something similar-Riley is about the size of that model dog too-it's OK. I like that he won't fall between the seats and I think it gives him a bit more security too. The downsides are that the thing needs constant adjustment and folds itself away from the doors.
