I have a line on a manual tcase out of a 2020 4Runner 4.0L - this part should be GTG for my 4.0/Auto 2009 Taco, correct?

Hey guys, would anyone with twin sticks be able to take some measurements for me? Even better if you have twin sticks from front range. I just need to know how much travel the sticks have full fwd and aft. Thanks in advance

I feel like I heard somewhere on here that they're 3.5" but I don't know if that's each direction or total front to rear

My 2020 4Runner t-case with Front Range OR Twin Sticks has ~3.25" throws measured from the top of the shifter ball.

I didn’t realize that until I went on a test drive. Dropped the case to see wtf was up and had a bunch of trans oil come out.

In case anyone else is concerned because they don’t know wtf we’re talking about, it’s only when putting a case behind a manual trans.

I found this out from your exact post lol. I was scrolling through the thread looking at what different people came up with for their shifters and then I saw that post and instantly a light bulb turned on in my head and I went "fuuuuuuuuuck" lol.

Anyone order twin sticks from FROR recently? Placed my order Aug 1st and its been radio silent since. Sent an email on the 14th to see if I could get an update and didn't hear back. Just curious how long it took for you to receive your shifters

I ordered mine August 7th, and just now got it. Took longer to ship than they promised for sure and communication was lacking.

    On a side note...
Diving into a fj twin stick swap. Anyone care to chime in, do I need to pull the gearset to remove the shift rods? Or is there a trick? I would rather avoid yanking the gears and chain out if possible.

Looks like you pulled the rear output flange instead of the front, so all that shit stayed with the front of the case. If it were me, I'd put the rear cover back on, and tighten down the rear flange nut, then take the front flange off, and separate the case again so that all that crap stays with the rear cover. From there you can pull the rails without having to mess with the chain.
