    I got my t case from a crashed FJ on eBay. $350 shipped to Hawaii. I wasn't gonna complain about not getting the stick :oops:

    That's a legit price for shipping to Hawaii. I got mine off EBAY shipped to California for the same amount.

    ETA: Mine came with the shifter though lol

    @HolyHandGrenade

    Did you have to do anything to the 4 wheel drive ECU or to the ADD plug/harness after the Tcase and ADD swap to get all of the indicator lights etc to work? I am going to the FJ Case and am going to do either the FJ front ADD delete or I am going to rig up a push/pull cable somehow. My concern is keeping Atrac and the rear locker functioning as it should and I'm not certain how an ADD delete will affect the ecu.

    4WD ECU is no longer used with the FJ case. You remove the switches from your old t-case and put them in the new t-case. Those run the dash lights same as before. You have to wire in a switch to control the ADD actuator or delete it all together.

    Here's all the info on the T-case swap

    I am intimately familiar with both of those threads but I will undoubtedly re-read them 10 more times before I go for it.

    My ADD is going away for sure, I just want to make sure I can retain the Atrac and the rear locker, both of which need to be in low range.

    Sounds like I am overthinking this one but just to be clear, the connections on the FJ Case will send the correct signals to the ECU and Atrac and rear locker will function normally?

    I don't have either of those things. In my truck, after the FJ case was in, the ECU was left unplugged.

    I know there is a "locker anytime mod" for the E-locker. I don't know anything about ATRAC.

    Atrac doesn't work via 4wd ECU. It works on my truck without any changes. The elocker will need to be jumpered like the dash lights do.

    Still looking to buy a standard FJ single stick off of someone who did a twin stick conversion. Anyone?

    In all my reading on this swap, somewhere I remember seeing one owner use the entire pencil slot for the opening of the xfer case shifter, and designed linkage out of aluminum bar to select 2h-4h-4lo. I can't find it now. Has anyone else seen it, and if so can you share the link?

    I trimmed the RST knobs down a bit for more room. When shifting out of park, it was hitting the HI/LO stick. I didn't want them all splayed out to avoid contact, so I just made them more narrow.

    4hi

    4lo

    2lo

    Sticks are very solid. Hardly any wiggle. Now just needs some paint! And I'm gonna have my custom upholstery buddy make me a custom leather boot. :D
