That's pretty cool, how is it held on at the front, another metal bar? You should do a write up

Only thing that's bad for me is of you load it up, itd block your rear view and a cop would ticket you

Yes, held on by two bars bolted to the bed rails. I could do a write up. It was pretty easy, just time consuming drilling all the holes and cutting metal. Why would you get a ticket? It's a truck, stuff goes back there.

LUSETACO...your rail mount bed rack looks like it would work with a cap on...am I seeing that correct?

I get my shell in a couple of weeks. Looks like a great mod.

I would think as long as it doesn't interfere with the clamps for the topper it should work.

In most (I believe all actually) states you only need a clear line of sight to two of three mirrors... That's why tractor trailers are legal sense I obviously can't see out the back of the truck

Might be because trucks have a different registration type. I know in RI and MA, trucks get commercial/combination plates. Next time I some little company car/suv without the rear windows, I'll see what kind of plate it has.

New York you can block rear window, tint it black, what ever. Needs side mirrors. I had village cop pull me over for my window being too dark for him to see me. He didn't think I'd question the law he sited in the ticket. Never question him, just get more tickets then, do it when you get home. I wrote the DA and ticket was thrown out.

Finished the bed rack. I spent a little more then I had planned. I needed to buy a lot of hardware and brackets. That with the metal, paint and rack came out to about $90.
