This pic is crazy! Really shows the difference. Nice work. Love the leather covers too.
I think 90% of people would choose the angle of your modded headrest. Stock angle is always awkward.

Man. I really dig that winch/bumper setup. What's the story there?

Of all the mods I've done, bending those head rests were one of the most satisfying. It still makes me mad when I think about my messed up neck.

I ordered a dash cam because I work and live in Dallas and people around here drive like idiots! The dash cam gives me some peace of mind because i have been in 2 wrecks in the past that were not my fault and the insurance ended up saying both drivers were at fault. I feel like if i had a video to show what happened during both i would not have been out of pocket.

I got on youtube and found a video on how to hard wire install a dash cam. I also found one for my radar detector and wired in both at the same time. It was pretty easy. I could have used better hardware to install everything (ie. add a fuse, soldered and shrink wrapped connections, better ground terminal connector) but it was not necessary.

how do you guys secure the dash cam to the dotted area above the rear view mirror? I have the suction cup mount but it always falls. I may just end up putting some 3m tape on the suction cup and throw it up there.

When i had my windows tinted i had them do a front 'brow'. So my window tint covers the dotted area and gives me a smooth surface. The camera mount is held on with 3m tape. The camera is easily removed/attached from the mount.

Does anyone know if the seats in the tacoma can be swapped out with seats from another toyota? I want some leather seats from an avalon or something but i am not sure if the mounts will line up. Does anyone have any info on this?

haha. Yeah it is hot as hell but my last ride had leather and its easier to clean/keep clean. And if i can find some that have power and/or heated seats that would be nice to have also.

I'd love it if the Tacoma was offered in vinyl seats.

What year is your truck? Also is it a Limited edition? I think only the limited comes with that option. I could be wrong. I was checking out the interior of the 2016 tacomas and it looked like they come with leather/pleather seats.
