It's a 2015 Taco TRD Off Road DCSB. I didn't like the new '16 but the more I look at it the more I start to like it..

Right!! i dont care much for the new grills. The tailgates are dope! and the new instrument cluster in the dash would be nice to have. I just want some seats that will last and will not stain if something gets spilled on them.

I was cleaning my truck with some armorall cleaner and the the spray bottle fell over with out me knowing and by the time i noticed a small amount had leaked out and made a stain on my new seats! Very upset about it.

This thread has drifted off into the woods.

    :stayontopic:

Let's bring it back in. @LUSETACO

    Here we go...
Changed my head rests. Took the back ones and put them in the front. Don't need to back ones right now. Those seats are full of little humans in car seats.
    :D

Because the front head rests are horrible. I almost didn't buy my 2015 because of them.

Yes. The position that it puts your head in is very uncomfortable and after reading a couple other posts about them, it makes me believe that the head rest could be one of the causes of my back soreness.
    Easy enough to do.

Got it. My 2010 F150 was like that. It's why I only kept it 3 months and traded on a 2010 Tacoma.
My 2015 Tacoma is ok to me.

But I understand how the active headrests can be uncomfortable.
Thank the .gov for that. Those assholes make rules but get choffered around in limos. Bastards.

The headrests were awful when brand new. Once mine got "worn in" and softened up a bit, it was much better.

My DIY mod is going to be a kind of half bed liner idea. The composite bed is too smooth and everything slides around. I plan to put down either some rubberized bed liner or grip tape on on the raised portions of the bed to solve the issue.

You don't want to throw a bed mat in there?

If you are refering to the stuff on my floor... that is the factory floor liner that i have kept in there to help protect the carpet. I figured i would just see how long i can keep it in there before it gets to ugly and needs to be removed.

I love my coffee. Even though we have 127 cup holders in the Tacoma...I never really found a good place to keep my thermos.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/media/thermos.475310/
I bought a 3"rubber pipe connector and attached it to the driver's seat adjustment rod.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/media/holder.475309/
This holds my thermos out of the way, yet within reach for easy retrieval.

No more reaching into the back seat or thermos rolling around on the floor! I can still adjust my seat, as needed.

Neat mod. I'd move it to the passenger side. Don't want it to come loose, roll around, and interfere with the brake or gas pedal!

Great idea for umbrellas! I keep mine in the back storage, but this would keep it right within reach.
