    More? Probably not.

The one on the bottom was the cheapest 30 inch i could find on eBay a year and a half ago and could do with an upgrade at some point.

    Here's what I have:
Diode Dynamics ss18 combo driving light
Diode Dynamics ss6 amber wide pattern fog lights
Caliraised pods with side output (4 of them) as ditch and higher forward facing lights

Also have Diode Dynamics side markers front/rear and their super bright reverse lights.

At some point I'll redo the entire headlight and retrofit some led projectors.

What is everybody using for camera settings on night shots? I've got a Samsung S7 and the pictures aren't that great. I realize that a camera phone lens kinda sucks, but there should be some tricks....right?

So far I like them a lot. I could go for a wider spread for the downward facing one as it is a bit concentrated so close up but overall it gets the job done. I dropped a screw the other day in the brush and these helped a ton. The forward facing ones... well lets just say that with them mounted higher up they give my light bar a run for the money for overall spread (concentrated not so much but they're great if no ones in front of you). I use the driving bar for backroads when I'm closer to residential areas trying not to light up houses, the two forward facing pods are for when I'm in the middle of no where (half of my ride home) in the woods and they light up everything.

What're those upper bars you're running!? I saw this pic b4 but didn't look close enough. Looks like evo primes! Clones?

I'm still quite the camera noob and don't fully understand some of the workings on cameras. But have experimented and read up on some and it helped me take better shots. But mostly it came down to taking lots of shots with different settings to see which worked best. Even then I still take tons of photos and have to sort through them.

(Again I'm no expert so if anyone wants to chime in with corrections please do. I could use more tips myself..)

Exposure shots can be pretty tricky. I've found there's lots of different factors that can play into how well you capture light. But for the most part, you'll wanna pay attention to shutter speed, Aperture (F-Stop), and ISO. I don't worry too much about (and still don't understand) aperature. I usually leave aperature on auto and adjust the other two. I'll put ISO down low, like 100-300, and adjust the shutter speed only when taking shots. For most of my night shots I've stuck with 1/4s shutter speed. Sometimes higher but with iso adjusted accordingly. And this is all with adjusting things manually. On my phone, LG v10, the auto mode actually works quite well on its own and often times use that too..

Distance also plays a factor. If you take long distance shots you'll want to do long exposure. I don't do long exposure on up close shots because it's too much of a pain as it takes too long. But if I wanna capture a wide, long distance shot, I'll take the time to set up my camera. Which I use my regular camera for and not my phone. As it has to remain completely still for the entire shot. Even shots with like a 1/4 second exposure you'll need a very steady hand.

And the problem with taking mid range exposure shots, is you'll lose some of the light capture. Most of the shots you'll get like, idk, 85% of total output captured. So you'll lose a bit. Like the spill and side spread areas that aren't as bright that you won't see on camera that you do in person. But really it's not a big deal to me. As long as I capture the gist of it. Long exposure shots are a pain.

Other than that, here's a couple pics with the values listed. Hope it helps.
(this one was taken on auto from phone)
    F/1.8, 1/13s shutter speed, 400 iso

This one from my camera with manual settings for long exposure(4 seconds):
    F/4.2, 4s shutter speed, 100 iso
    2017-06-30_03-49-20.jpg

This one taken with phone(which is usually the setting I use if not auto):
    F/1.8, 1/4s shutter speed, 300 iOS

Yes they are the clones. Top one is spot, the middle one is flood, the bottom is the cheapest bar i could find, it will be replaced by a combo of the upper bars at some point.

I'll have to take a few night shots with your settings here soon.

Nice. I bet your output is awesome and can't wait to see it! They have one of the best spreads I've seen with the 3d optics they use. Have you compared one of those to the cheap one you have on bottom? Big difference I bet.

Huge difference, i had a 20inch x 4 row of 3w in the main grill before, and its not even close to how bright it is now.

For $170/bar, im amazed more people aren't using these. I think they are in a funny middle ground, they aren't super cheap so newbies dont want them, but they are still off brand so the snobs dont want them either.

Exactly.. Plus they're kinda hard to find and not that popular. Vision x for some reason doesn't seem to push their marketing as much as others do.. Idk why vision x discontinued the evo prime design. Their newer xpr design (that replaced the evos) is opticless and not really anything greater than the previous design. I'd argue that the evo is still a better design over the xpr. But they're really awesome lights regardless. And the clones are a good alternative to the budget minded. Still not as good as the name brand especially in terms of quality and finish. But definitely worth their slightly higher price over other generic light bars for sure.

On a side note. You might wanna wrap the lenses in a uv resistant film. Probly won't be affected as much as mine, being behind your grille, but I found that the lenses tend to degrade over time, here in the az sun that is. But that goes without saying with anything here. Ha. But a good investment either way. Any new lights I get will be getting wrapped.

Yeah, behind the grille and in Oregon vs az will help me out. I've sprayed a coat of clear acrylic over one of the lights i have on a work pickup, but it hasn't be on there long enough to tell if it was effective.

Pretty disappointed in how the pictures turned out, as they do not do it justice. But, in the image without streetlights, the little speck in the center(on the high beam side) is 1/4 of a mile away. My low beams are Nineo LED bulbs.
