I did this mod like... 4-5 years ago before all the raptor lights were cool. Haha.

I dremeled holes in my grill, used "LED Bolts" and screwed them thru the holes, and wired it to my daytime running lights so they're on 24/7.

if I were to do it again I would choose something a little bit brighter... but I like that they aim forward and down instead of straightforward like all the knock-off Raptor grills on eBay

old pic. rigid d series with amber top caps replaced the oem foglights while a 30" rigid radiance bar utilizing caliraised brackets occupies the lower grill. i do have a pair of rigid flush d series pro (midnight edition) that i want to mount either in the rear bumper or one right next to the opening by the license plate. also was thinking of picking up a set of rigid diffused srm flush for a set of sidemarkers. still debating. sounds good in the head but sometimes doesnt translate well.

 

If you count flashing LEDs, at the moment I have an Amber/Green Chaser Linear LED dash light by Extreme Tactical Dynamics and a Green/Amber alternating (Green, Amber, Green, Amber, Green, Amber, Green, Amber rather than Greenx4, Amberx4) Striker 8 TIR LED traffic advisor. I also have 2 Amber/Green ORION TIR 6 grille lights from Extreme Tactical Dynamics I have yet to install. Eventually I will get a simple offroad LED bar and hopefully one of those under tailgate bars with turn signal, Running lights, and brake light. Also all my interior lighting with the exception of vanity mirror lights are LED as well as my license lights.

PS: Looking at this Caliraised. How easy would it be to install. I am wanting to put it in my lower bumper. Will it fit and what would be better for Search and Rescue. The spot or combo?

Had a Cali raised light bar originally under my grill my and it worked as intended but then my bumper got got destroyed and I upgraded to a new grill and aluminum bumper with BD squadron sports and two S-8 30” light bars and couldn’t b happier...!!
These things are bright and high quality..!!
