I've been looking for a way to mount my gun for awhile now and this just popped into my head one night. I think it turned out well.

What did you use for the intake tube? Looking to do something like this myself to bring in outside air instead of warm engine compartment air.

This is how I mounted my license plate. I wouldn't let the stealership punch holes in my new bumper.

This is a very good excuse to get a lightbar. :D Oh, the HID hella 700's are in the works.

I bought a sheet of kydex online and made it my self. You just need a nice strong blade and a heat gun.

I mounted it using this http://www.homedepot.com/Tools-Hardware-Hardware-Fasteners-Fasteners-Household-Velcro/h_d1/N-5yc1vZaqxm/R-202261921/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053 With that type of mounting system I can take with me with out have to do anything.

Prolly could use a Blackhawk Sherpia holster (for your model/type gun) mounted the same way. Also take a look at some stuff called 3M Duel Lock, it's kinda like bad-ass Velcro, actually snaps in and out of position, any position. Great work/idea to the OP.

I'm guessing you could use any type of holster but I wanted some space between the side and the grip. It makes it easier to access the pistol if your under stress. I have the luck of being able to shot/train from my truck and found this set up worked best for me.

I do like your idea of using the 3M Duel Lock. I've read about it but never used it. I'll pick some up and test it.
