Just got my pelican case installed on my roof rack a few days ago. Just curious what you guys store in yours, and your thoughts on them. I built a drawer system in the bed awhile back and free'd up a lot of space with less used stuff.
Seems pretty handy so far for misc items.
Not sure what i think on the looks of it.

I keep my Pelican Case under my bed, and I keep a Benelli M4 in it. What do you keep in yours?

Right on, i guess there main purpose is for tools/guns/gear.

I havnt had time to organize my gear but threw some emergency supplies, first aid, and misc stuff in it for now.

Treating it as a small low profile thule i guess.

I wouldn't be surprised if you get people climbing on the side of your truck, to see what kind of gun they can make off with. :p

Well they will be quite upset when they find some shitty jumper cables and bandaids!

Pelican mounted on my Prinsu rack. Keep my tool bag with hand tools, recovery gear (bubba rope, soft shackles), 3/8" impact, soldering iron, folding military shovel, and some rags in it.

I dont have a pic of the inside.

Have two on my roof.... hi lift base, kinetic rope, couple other straps, lift-mate in one... other is packed with tools.

Really opened up the interior options for stuff that I use more often.

I keep my offroading/recovery/repair gear in mine (straps, tire deflators, comealong, spare tools, tire repair kit).

Seems most guys have the shorter version. I think mine measures about 43" in length. Got it off a friend though, for an offer i couldnt refuse!

Can you share how you mounted yours to the OEM roof rack cross bars?

I dont have it currently mounted to show any pics of the inside/mount.
But I literally just drilled 4- 3/8” holes in both the case and cross bars. And bolted it down.

Everything I have needed at one point, and had to unpack half the truck to get to on a road trip.

25' Jumper cables in black case
Center case is Air and tire stuff: air hose, attachments, tire plugs, spare valve stem, etc
Back case is now removed and replaced with a tow strap, hitch and pin, fuel nozzle and siphon, and a few other odds and ends that I didn't have a good place for.

What pelican is that? Is it locked to the bars to prevent theft and you running it constantly or only for trips when you need to use it?

Just some easily replaceable truck shit in mine...but they might meet the one I carry if the circumstances are right.

LOL As much as I love my Pelican cases, that wouldn't last a week around here before some homie or meth head assumed there was a gun in it and trashed it and probably damaged your truck breaking into it.
