I am also located in the Philly suburbs, so we probably get about the same amount of snow when we actually do have snowfall. With the blower I just would do my lot once about 3 inches landed, would probably do the same with the plow as to not over exert anything. Already have blue sumos installed to help with the 3-400 lbs and would never leave my lot with it attached, just disconnect it after it is all finished. I am sure it would be fine for those simple tasks, definitely wouldn't make a living off of plowing other properties with it.

I live in your neck of the woods. I just use a Snowsport with my Jeep and Taco. Gets the driveway clear.

Cleaning up 3” of snow in a small parking lot with a lightweight plow will be easy on the truck…. No worries there. Just be aware of where curbs and any larger obstacles may be. Uneven pavement may not clean up quite as nicely as when using the snowblower.

Here’s the plow I have in the barn, unsure if the Tacoma will receive it for this season. Snowex RDV stainless, trip edge, direct lift w/ Scrape Max (down pressure), about 550 lbs w/ frame.

My parking lot is probably about 50' by 50' then a small area off to the side, that's why I like the full hydraulic setup for angling purposes. being motivated to not let the snow accumulate too much before each pass the front receiver hookup seems adequate. Since it will be a business expense technically I'm not shy to spend a little extra either. I also prefer something that can be delivered to me since I will be installing it myself and a lot of the big names like western and sno way have to be bought from a dealer

    Let's see...
Spend 3 grand to beat up your truck in a bad weather activity that no one in their right mind would do otherwise... I cringed each time the plow guy did my driveway when I had winter white $h*t on the ground...

I don't know how many trucks the plow guy killed per year...
An utter waste of $$. (And I would not do it for 10x the $!)

    I relocated asap.

I felt each and every minute of life as it was painfully wasted when I had to spend time to 'winterze' anything, shovel snow, chip ice, etc...

I couldn't even stomach skiing during that time. (Weather was too crappy!).

Yeah, SnowSport works pretty well for smaller residential driveways as long as you have the room to maneuver. Its easy on the truck, has no electronics headaches, goes on/off easily and is comparatively cheap (my used SS ran under $700 and that included a new front-mounted hitch). Combined with a snowblower for the tight places it works just fine.

I also have the HTX on my ‘21, and I notice a decent amount of water intrusion/ crud in the engine bay because the factory shield has to be removed. Wondering if anyone has figured out a workaround ?

I married my snow plow 30 years ago. Runs on coffee and hot chocolate.

Don't have a winter pic, but this is my plow, and after yesterdays 13 inches of snow yesterday, I had a blast. They recommended everyone stay home. I laughed.....
