I'm driving from Las Vegas to Phoenix this saturday to pick up an 07 LTR450, can't get to the pics now :(. I'll be taking it out for the 1st ride over Easter :D.
Now we have 2 Z400's, a YFZ450 and a LTR450 for just the 2 of us :goingcrazy: I'm thinking we put some dirt tires on the 400's and keep the 450's ready for the sand!!

Anyone fit an LTR in their Tacoma??

Your truck is the DC SB so it might be a bit tough to fit- and I'm sure you know that tailgate down is a must too. Depends on whether or not the front will go on/over the fenders, or fit between them. My Honda 450 W/ +2" Laeger a-arms has to go over them with my sand tires on (they're wider offset 2+3 wheels instead of 3+2), but at full droop with the stock tires/rims it can squeeze between. Have you rode a LTR before buying one?

Yes I have ridden a couple of them along with the YFZ450, Honda 450R, Rator 700, Kawi 450 and 700 and others... I actually learned to ride with a LTR 3 years ago when I first got into the sport and I should have bought it then, but I didn't think I'd ride as often as I do now so I bought the Z400 instead. But I'm getting a smokin deal now!!

I know for sure the tailgate has to be down, it does with my Z400.
The 400 fits between the wheel wells and it is 44" across the front tires without offset wheels and sand tires, but the other 400 has offset rims and sits 48" across the front.
I'm told the LTR is about 51" with the offset rims and sand tires, so I'm just about certain it isn't going to fit between. We usually have them in the hauler anyway, but it is nice to put it in the bed if needed.

We are taking the durmax to pick it up since that is going to be the easiest.

Thanks Eric, I was hoping you would chime in, I saw your pics already.

    No problem.
I haven't gotten a chance to ride the Kawie KFX450 or the KTM's yet but I've ridden all the others, even the Can Am. I still like my Honda the best so that's why I still have it. Of course, having $8000+ in aftermarket parts and motor work is another reason. The New YFZ450R SE would probably be the only other quad I'd buy at the moment, well, if I had the money that is:eek:. It's looks and performance are just irresistible! ~

What kinda deal are you getting on it? Seems like there are plenty of people hurting with this economy and dumping some of their 'toys' is pretty common, as is some good deals on them.

The kawi kfx450 is a turd in my opinion, it just doesn't compare to other 450's, I hated the kfx700. The YFZ's are nice, but I enjoyed the LTR much better. You are right though the new YFZ looks awesome. The Raptor 700 is a nice bike, my bf wants one of those. I just never liked the Honda, but no particular reason why. I have some friends with bad a$$ honda 450's.

True you have a lot into your bike, so you better enjoy it ;). I probably have close to $2000 into my z400 and I was going to do shocks this summer, but this LTR costs just a little more than I'd pay for shocks so it's a better deal.

    Here is what it has...
    White 2007 suzuki ltr450:
Suzuki Nerfs, cherry bomb, trail tech HID's, aluminum bars, cooler rack, 8 paddle extreme scat traks haulers on douglas blue labels, Dirt tires included, Shifter support bracket installed, PRM skid plate, Title in hand, New az ohv sticker. 12 trips on bike, oil changed after every ride. Stock exhaust and air filter.
    $3300 :D
I'll be adding an exhaust and a K&N right away.
My friend just sold his 06 LTR with similar mods for $4500.

We just picked up an 06 YFZ450 with low hours and the standard mods for $2800.

Wow, that's a great deal on both of those quads! Here an LTR like that would still be $5000 or so, and the YFZ would have been like $4500 OBO. Hope you get to enjoy your new ride, make sure to post some pics of it.

Yup, that is what they go for around here also! That is why we picked these up. Now if we could just find the sandrail we want :frusty:.
I'll post some pics next week :D.

I like those torch lights on it. I think if they put out enough light that I'd remove the factory light and throw one of those Quadtech "Bird Beak's" on it and it would look pretty sick!

Yeah we have those lights on the YFZ also and they are much better than the stock lights.
I might be picking up a Dr D full exhaust for $250 next week :D and I'll be ordering a K&N filter.
We got the wrong size ODI grips for the YFZ so will probably put those on the LTR and order smaller ones for the YFZ. Those grips are awesome!
It has pretty much everything else I'd normally add anyway, so that is fantastic. Might upgrade the nerf bars and the seat at some point. It has the sand tire set-up I wanted, so that is more $$ in my pocket.:woot:
