Yesterday I went a little south of here at Kfalls to Keno. At their sportsman track they have a very small motocross track to ride around on. The track was in rough condition not being groomed since who know when but we made the best of it. Fellow member Timicha went with me as well. So here are a few pictures I thought I would share.

Thanks , I don't like the aftermarket bumpers and this one is a lot stronger than anything I have seen. Works great for pushing stuck mules and rangers out of the mud and I don't even need to get off the bike:D My buddy has a polaris ranger and when he starts to get stuck I just push him everywhere:rofl::devil::rofl:

Lots of great pictures of many different bikes and actions shots.

Now, I'm not a salesperson for Leatt or any other neck brace company, but I'm here today because I was wearing a neck brace when I had a crash a couple of Sundays ago. I was riding in the WeBeRacing series in Farmington at the Dunes when I tried to pass a guy in a wash and hit a very large rock. The front tire cleared the rock, but the rear tire hit it hard and pogoed me over the front of the handlbars while I was cranked in 3rd gear doing about 45mph. The last thing I remember seeing the front fender and then hearing my helmet hit the ground. When I finally stopped skipping across the ground, I realized I could not longer breath very well, and the left side of my chest was hurting really bad.

30 minutes later when I finally hand enough oxygen in my lungs to provide strength to stand up, I realized I was about 75 feet from the rock that sent me over the handlbars. This was the worst wreck I've had in 25 years of riding.

This crash bruised up my side pretty bad, and broke two ribs, hence the difficulity breathing. An MRI showed no internal damage or bleeding which is always nice.

If I didn't have a neck brace on, I either wouldn't be here today, or I'd be in a wheel chair. I can't emphasize it enough just how important it is to get the proper riding protection, especially on dirt bikes. When you're laying in the hospital not able to feel your toes, all people whish they would have charged their credit card to get a neck brace. I'm sure glad I got mine, its already paid for itself, and I'm here to testify that these things work.

Here is a pic of me Riding the Buckman area in Santa Fe, looking towards the Jemez Mountains.

I wrecked last January and vowed to get a neck brace. I was waiting for the EVS and it kept getting pushed back. The impact of my accident was soon forgotten and I still do not have a neck brace.

Side of the head impacts are the worst. I broke my helmet...
    IMG_1858_93fb89fe85169e8ea00fd1071b0377097fa1775c.jpg

I hit a patch of ice and was slammed hard into the ground. Broke two ribs and had serious bruising on my lung. I was out cold for 7 minutes and my riding partners could not get me to move my left side ("move your left leg" - wiggles his right leg). I did bruise my C-spine but don't remember which one. I also had a serious concussion and really don't remember the next 3 days (drugs played a part in that).

I ride with All The Gear All The Time - ATGATT. I will get the EVS soon.

Well, don't put it off too much longer, as you know, one slip and it could end.

Knocked out, you must have really hit hard.

Thus far, I've fallen and broke my right thumb and in the same fall, cracked my helmet. Had a concussion and some bruising. I thought I just jammed my thumb, so I pulled it out.....found out later, it was broke, not jammed.

I know that gear can save your life, it certainly has mine.
