With the wood "ramps" my dad rode it up. I got a folding aluminum ramp from Harbor Freight because it is wider and more stable and I ride it up that. The ramp was $100 but I have seen used for $50. Pushing would probably be safer but the bike is almost too big for the truck so its a tight fit and like you said, I can't do it alone.

It was pouring last time I used my aluminum ramp and the bike tried to kick the ramp out from under it. The safety chains held the ramp though. But yea, I have seen scary things with the home made ramps...too dangerous for me! I don't think I could flip the bike back over...

Here is a better picture of the toyota 450 and a picture of what yamaha ended up with. note that the engine in tilted back more on the yammy but both have the "tornado" exhaust. Also Honda uses a unicam which is not on the toyota.

Well here is my old 400EX, I miss it. But My friend I rode with moved out of state and it sat for about 2 years with very little use as I didn't have anyone to ride with and with "the" (now my wife) new woman in my life, I finally let it go.

Not a good weekend for me or the bike:eek:

Not sure if you can tell but the entire rear half of the bike is covered in shock oil.

The worst part is I wasn't even being that hard on the bike, and I have less than 20 hours on the suspension since I had it revalved. Im thinking it has something to do with the guy that revalved it because I know of another bike that he worked on that did basically the same thing.

All I know is its going to be expensive.

Wow. Did the shaft bend or did it pull out of the body? If it pulled out, then I would go back to that guy and make him fix it.

I think it just pulled out because I really don't see how that shaft could break. Its definitely not bent though. I won't get a chance to really get a good look at it till next weekend.

Yea I think it would bend before it broke. The guy probably just installed something wrong or forgot something which caused it to fail.
