I'm looking to buy a Yami Raptor 350 SE on Monday. I'm 170lbs. Do you think its big enough for somebody my size? I think the 660 or 700 is just way too much power. Please, help a brother out.

A 350 is a stepping stone, get a big boy and take baby steps.

A 350 is going to be fun to learn on but that's about it for you. Once you ride more and develop your skills your gonna want something better. I have a 660 Raptor and there pretty, fast not a great learner quad. Something in the 400cc range would be better suited for you if you ask me.

OUCH! I know you always have to take a good digger to move up the levels, but that sucks right there! I'll pass on the 2 extra tires and live axle.

Skip it. i used to have a 350 raptor...... only had it for 4 months because it just wasnt a very good quad. get a real 400 like a 400EX or a Z400(or one of its clones like the KFX) and you'll be much happier. more power, better handling, better suspension and MUCH more potential if you get better and want to make it faster. if you cant afford the 400s, get the 250 Raptor and save yourself some money. its a much more fun little quad to ride than the 350. i was very impressed by the little 250, quite fast for its size and WAY better than the honda or suzuki 250's. i've owned ridden my share of quads but thats my 2cents:cool:

Thanks for the replys. I've received mixed reviews so its up in the air. I think I'll buy it and get something nicer and bigger if I really enjoy riding. I'm sure I can pawn it off on one of my friends for cheap. Plus I'm only paying $1,900 for it. ;)
