Here is my 2004 Honda CRF250, Tons of mods, but the majors are FMF Power header and silencer, Gold Chain, high compression piston, milled head, new valves.

Anyone from the Mid-west know good places to ride up here? Either tracks or trails?

    Lookin good for a Polaris!:p
Hey, do you ever ride out at Christmas Vally dunes? I'm going to rent storage with friends and were all bringing our quads and dirtbikes down here to Klamath for spring term so we can ride on the weekends. Hitting the dunes out there will definately be one of the trips.

Yeah I've gone to christmass valley for memorial weekend the last three years. It's ok but the sand is usually a lot drier and softer than the coast. Also it has a lot of alkalie dirt in it and causes a lot of grime to stick to your bike. And the reason I have the polaris is because of the KTM motor without the $11K KTM price tag. I'm hoping to go to Florence in a couple weeks if the weather is decent.

Alright, I'm gonna check out Christmas valley and see what I think of it. If you are gonna be out on the coast between March 19th to the 28th let me know. I'll be home for spring break then and its just 1 1/2 -2hrs drive for me. I am definitely going to hit the dunes a few times while I'm back so maybe one of them will be when you're there:cool:

^^^^ hey thanks. Yeah I like it too, wish that that tree werent there though. I have a pic of my friends toyota on it from the other side that is PERFECT. I think some friends and I might head back down there in the future. There's a little rock crawl, some trails, and a small MX track for the quads and bikes.

    kinda getting out of hand...
I have to ask...So far all I have seen from a real dirtbiker was a sticker...

Why do all you quad riders ride quads...? Is it because you cant ride a real bike or what??? I have ridden one and it blows! Wherever I am riding there are always people with quads blocking all the trails and moving at a snail speed. Please explain.

I had an Xr400. I loved it, and when i sold it i shed a tear. I messed up my knee pretty bad, so it had to go.

The best riding around me are dunes and quads are simply more fun to ride on dunes IMO. Another reason is my dad, when he was younger he hurt his back (had 2 surgeries) and his left ankle had been crushed(not atv or dirtbike related injuries). He loved motorcycles as he grew up on them, but couldn't ride them much after those injuries but he can ride a quad OK. Therefore, I grew up riding quads rather than dirtbikes and I'm pretty good on a quad so I've just stuck with it because im more attached to them than dirtbikes. Its not like I dont have any balance, just look back at some of my pics and you'll see me riding my quad on two wheels- and not just wheelies.

Several friends of mine have sold their dirtbikes and bought quads. I guess they just had to switch to quads because they couldnt ride bikes though:rolleyes:
