Lets See Your Retrofit/Aftermarket Headlights! All Gens Welcome - Limit Discussion, Include Pictures

Trying to make an informative headlight thread that is simple to view. Every other thread like this has hundreds of pages of discussion with very little information related to the topic.

My setup:

Super White - 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport with Morimoto XB LED Headlights V2

 

I'll play. I like these types of posts, straight and to the point. However, you're never going to stop discussions and questions. lol

2015 Tacoma OEM housings, blinker and headlight bowls left chrome, projector shroud and headlight surround painted metallic black, outside running light area painted "dark chrome" and left the reflector amber but due to black behind the reflector it appears smoked. I expected more pop from the metallic in the black and more chrome from the dark chrome, but that's ok because very few people are getting that close to them anyways. The black shroud makes the reflector bowl look smoked as well. I am my own worst critic. haha

-RX350 EU projectors
-Clear lens swap
-Osram Nightbreaker Laser D2S bulbs
-Morimoto Turbine shrouds painted metallic black.
-Profile Halo's behind shrouds, functions as DRL and Blinker.
-Hella Gen 3 35w Ballasts (arguably the best ballast out there)
-Morimoto H4 MotoControl harness
-Sylvania 3357 ST Silverstar blinker bulbs they are Diadem coated for a different look when off and a nice deep amber when on. They are significantly brighter than a 3157 and many LED's as well(28.5/8.5 vs 3157 27/8w)
-Osram WY5W (194) Diadem bulbs in the outside running light.



I need to restore the lenses but that can happen later.

Headlights only, the wall is about 100ft in front of the truck and camera settings were set to lower the brightness so it wasn't overexposed, at least as much as an iPhone X could do when I took these pictures.
