    Ive got both options available to me. However, been there done that with a bike on the roof. Except I took it off in a nissan 200sx I used to own. Pulled in the garage and took it right off after forgetting i had. I was waiting for a snicker bar cause I was not going anywhere for a while. It never came. PS Love your set up and the truck :)

    here's mine so far....i'm gunna be install 5100's all around with an AAL in the rear (hopefully this week), but so far she's pretty much stock, other then a some paint and a few mods:D....

    I know one person who did this and another who clipped a tree and ripped his wife’s bike off the roof. I seems to me one of the points of having a truck is to carry stuff in the bed instead of the roof.

    I couldn't agree more. However, in cases where I need to lock my $2500.00 mtn bike, I'm going to do it on top. Plus I fill up my bed when I go camping and stuff like that. Hence, both options. You can never go wrong trying it both ways. :wink:
