That looks PERFECT. What size tires? Did you install the rack on the Canopy? I'm terrified of drilling holes in mine...

no need on the DC. Mounting points are already there, under the weatherstrip.

Thanks - as in the pic of my truck i attached, I have the rack (Martin rack, and i love it) on the cab; am asking about the rack on the canopy/topper/shell behind the cab. Drilling into that terrifies me.

Right, yeah. My bad, I was scrolling on the phone and somehow missed the fact that it was your truck pictured and not part of the reply.

I have the Shell rack in transit from Gage, should arrive tomorrow, and get installed this weekend :) My 06 dc had a Snugtop with thule rails installed, which made things much easier, but it seems like careful measurement and setup would be the key. I suppose you could also just use Sikaflex 252 to bond the rails without drilling?

Thank you - I suppose I am probably not careful enough to drill. I'd likely pay to have it done. I'll look into the adhesive! I suppose the cap holds, what, 1000lbs? maybe? I don't know what i'd put up there but it sure looks wonderful. :)

Thanks man! Theyre cooper st maxx 255/85/16 the canopy came with the roof tracks so no drilling for me but definitely worth giving it a go to be able to put a rack back there!

Unreal - those are the tires and size i use, but - and maybe you hear this all the time - 'yours looks so much bigger'. Yes thatswhatshesaid. Could it be from your shorter bed? Is your truck a little lower maybe? spacers?

    Edit -
From this angle I suppose they look the same size as yours...hrm...

    Thank you! They are.

Truck no longer has those depo lights thought because they were absolute shit. scary. awful. they did not even remotely function as the beam shown no farther than about 10feet in front of the truck - was like driving with only driving/fog lamps. Back to OEM until i can find somebody who can take the mirrors/reflectors out of the OEM housings and put back into the DEPO housings. :)

Anybody got some gunmetal or any other color wheels on their truck? I'm tired of looking at my black wheels all day.
