Nice. That is the truck I would be driving if we didn't have a child on the way.

Thanks for the reply. It looks really nice, I've been looking at A.R.E. Snugtop, and LEER. Having trouble narrow it down because your top is over the cab height and I never would have thought I would like the way that looked until I saw it on your truck. Thanks for the info on price, I really had not idea what a new one cost.

    Hey guys,

I was over on ToyotaNation, but I finally decided to make a TW account. Here's a few pics from Ocatillo last weekend.

That's assuming that the storm makes it over the mountains. If it does, I need to get some new tires and get out there. Haha. It's been pouring here in RB.

    You're in RB, too? Sweet!

Yeah, it's been bad all over SoCal. The deserts have been getting just as much rain as we've been getting here.

I know I'm not Derek, but I'm giving you my opinion anyways. Haha. If you're gunna do it black, you go black like Derek did. All the chrome and the silver skidplate on your truck would make a big black grill look kinda off.

I like the color-matched look, so by all means go black. Thats one less all Silver Tacoma out there.

Im torn. I want to do the fender flares black for sure. The grill- I want either black bedliner or silver colormatched. And then there is the coice of the center bumper piece up front-leave it or black.

    So theres 4 options:

    1. Black fender flares, black grill, black center bumper piece.

    2. Black fender flares, black grill, leave bumper center piece silver.

    3. Black fender flares, silver grill, black center bumper piece.

    4. Black fender flares, silver grill, leave bumper center piece silver.

My personal opinion is all silver with the black center piece. That's probably what I'm going for. Maybe without the bumper. I plan on getting rid of the bumper and having a skid-plate/bumper fab'd up once I get LT. Maybe before, I'm sick of my tires rubbing.

If you go black flairs, I'd say definiitely go black grill.

You are definitely going to want to have some option's photoshopped. Also, you can get the vinyl sticker to put on the bumper to see it in person for a while before you decide to paint it. I know SockMonkey over on TN sells 2 sheets (1 just in case). That way if you don't like it, just rip it off. I'm interested to see what the black grill would look like with the black bumper.

Don't worry about it too much though. I find myself doing that a lot. It's your truck, do whatever you like. And always remember, the less stuff you want to paint, the less money it costs.

Well it looks good. That stuff is expensive.

Hey I want to do my Fender Flares black rough like that. I called a line-x guy and he told me it doesnt stick well to plastic. That true? If so i will just be doing spray on bedliner in the can.
