This is the one I miss...should never have sold it. I could have done the solid axle swap and set up the back end for long travel and had a sweet 4wd setup but chose to sell the 2000 and trade the 2007 for the 2009 4wd access cab manual trans which I would not do again if I had the chance to take it back.

18'7" Shallowrunner. Extreme skinny water flats boat for fishing lower Laguna Madre where the average water depth is around 8". I have run it in 2" of water (don't like to do that but it will). I have a 115 yamaha mounted ona hydraulic lift which puts the prop above the bottom of the boat and it has a tunnel that really moves the water around the lower unit. It's incredible what that boat will do.

One of the main reasons I have the truck I have. It is big enough to tow my boat but will still run on the beach and I like to surf and do beach photography; a full size truck will not do all these things like my taco will. So in spite of all that was wrong with it there is still a lot right with it. Sometimes just have to be happy with the compromise and in this case it works for me.

Satoshi grill mod, Redline Tuning Hood struts and tailgate E-Z down, HID headlights and fogs, LED tail lamp upgrade, TRD exhaust, FJ TRD Anthracite Wheels, T-REX eyelids, power sunroof, 5100 Billies and ToyTec AAL, K&N drop-in, TRD seatcovers, Weathertech floor mats, Fog light any-time mod, Pop-n-lock, slotted front rotors with ceramic pads, BenWa power rear slider mod, blackout badges, and blacked out center stack and console. 7" HID's behind the grill. LED light bar in the lower grill. Trailer plug relocate. Auxiliary reverse LED's wired in to be manual or auto on when in reverse.
not much done to it yet, BUT on the way are, 5100 Billies, AAL (TSB), Dynomax superturbo, K&N CAI, Satoshi Grill, HID upgrade, Boston Pros in the doors, JL Audio behind the rear seat, and the most important mod while I have the money is to get an extended warranty from that guy over on Toyota Nation. Then it should be more worthy of display on this forum.:D

I'm not much of a boat person, but my father has a 24' flat bottom riverboat that we once took through about 4" of water. Something got sucked up into the jet unit or something like that and we lost our footing. Had to get out and push/pull the boat 3/4 of a mile downstream. Oh yeah, there were 8 adults and 2 children in the boat. I was one of the children, so I got to watch. :D
