Can I has your super charger!??

I am now 30 and with a girlfriend, I love my truck and so does she lol, luckily she has an s5 so I get my speed fix in easily.

I have always been a mustang trash talker, they are fun for sure just not my cup of tea, I did come from owning a bunch of turbo charged cars prior to the taco though.

How much coin for the stang? one of my biggest arguments agains the stang has always been getting better value out of something else for the same coin, obviously that is all subjective as my suggestions can be bashed in their own right as well right?

Yeah surprisingly alot of chick's dig the taco over the stang haha. I used to have a 2013 mustang 5.0 and man it sure was fun to drive around town. I come from a family of mustang lovers. But I am torn, considering that my taco is supercharged and they don't make the supercharger anymore..

The stang is $37,500 out the door, 2016 premium package.

Yea I know a lot of people really love or appreciate going for the new out the door vehicles.
For me it has always been used or certified pre owned. I personally rather the 60k dollar car for 35k with 30k miles, over the 35k dollar car zero miles. Obviously things are not always so and searching for the Right One is always the variable.

I personally love porsche, and for 35k you can get a damn nice one. Surprisingly much less maintenance than people assume as well.

Yeah it's true, my 2013 5.0 premium I bought used with 7,000 on it for 25,500 and the original owner paid $38,000 out the door..

Thinking I may wait till next summer and see if I can get one cheaper.

always keep an eye out, I never push people into getting already modded cars but every so often the right one pops up with just the few things any car would need :)

Oh no, don't like pin stripes & if it had them when I bought it I would've taken them off right after the mud flaps. Haha

I believe they are referring the the type of "pin stripe" that tree branches and bushes make while taking it off road.

though I'm sure shopping carts do the same to those of us who Mall Crawl.

lol, the spruce family beating up on spruce taco here??

A real proper legit detail and paint correction Can remove some gnarly pin stripes, both the off roading kind and some mall crawl types.

It's funny that you brought up those numbers... Someone i work with picked up a 2013 535 BMW and I picked up a 2016 Subaru Legacy (loaded) with the 6 cylinder for the same price just a couple months ago (~$35k). I can obviously say he got a nicer car, but I got features I was dying to have that 2013s just don't. Adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, stuff like that... Also he's clearly inheriting problems on his vehicle that weren't caused by him. On the other hand I have had a great time putting 11,000 miles on a brand new car and I feel nothing but happy with this decision mainly because of the safety features and the fact that I get it "my way"... Not a single scratch or dent that I didn't put in it. Every vehicle before this (including the taco) have been used and I've had to live with the scars of other people's mistakes.

To put things back on topic... My 2013 DCSB freshly clay barred, buffed, and waxed... Trying to erase the 3 years of neglected paint.
The post above mine couldn't have been timed any better.

lol, well imho between a 535 and a legacy, I would take the legacy all day long it is a far superior vehicle. However I would opt for the M5 over the legacy.

I have decent seat time in a handle full of BMWs, and from what I have learned is they change significantly within models depending on motor and trim levels.

It is a sad reality that auto makers now and days have really fallen off with quality. A few out there still hang their hat on it, but many just do not.

Seems Subaru and Porsche are the two in my mind that stick out with few problems due to lack of R&D.Then again they are like the only two that haven't fecked with what brought them their fame. And neither seem to over produce cars way beyond their sales.

Something the big 3 should have learned yet at our expense got away with.

paint looks great man! I gotta get on that myself as well! Spruce Mica World!!!

Yeah there's something to be said for "carryover" suspension, engines and chassis. The only thing that's really new and crazy now on Subarus is the CVT and they've really done well with their implementation. I actually like the car so much that I would consider selling the truck if I no longer needed a truck for its towing and load capacity. But since I can't carry kayaks 4 people, luggage and firewood with the Legacy... I won't be getting rid of the truck anytime soon :)

Let me guess, you had a WRX too based on your username?

The whole reason I went with a Legacy is because of my great experience with my 2004 STI. Loved that car!

I have owned a couple different WRXs, and an older legacy wagon for some time. I worked as a tech at a subaru dealership for some years as well. Was very involved in the local subaru community and still somewhat am. My parents had a forester way back in the day and still own a legacy as their beater :) the 04 usdm sti is a great little machine!
