Let's see your Spruce Mica's

Put my new rims and tires on on Saturday. Fell in love with my truck all over again! Spruce definitely is the best color!!

 

sometimes I am not sure if I like my truck better with or without sliders front and rear bumper and a cap

 

Just picked up a 2013 6 speed TRD DCSB that has 70 000 KM on it. Excited to sink some money into it!

 

I want to here, the next time I am in NY

New wheels and tires installed this past Wednesday. Big difference from what I'm used to, but I'm really liking the new look. FJ/4Runner Trail Editions wrapped in BFG 265/70/17 KO2s.

 

Cool....two DCLBs back to back with silver/grey T4R Trail and silver/black T4R TRD OR wheels.

 

I started looking for this style wheel after seeing them on your truck. Originally wanted to powder coat them in matte black, but after seeing them in person decided to keep the factory finish.

 

I have a set that I powdercoated grey....great color, but just didn't go well with the green. I think the factory finish is definitely the way to go with this wheel in either black or grey accents. Post some more pics what you get yours mounted. I need to take some more as well now that the weather is nice.

 

So I was waiting for them to do the final alignment at the shop, and while I was sitting there guy walks up checking out the tires on the truck, as well as the ones in the bed. I casually mentioned, somewhat jokingly, that they are for sale if you're interested. His response - "how much you want for them?" Long story short, ended up selling the take-off tires from the FJ/T4R wheels to him on the spot. Helped offset the cost of my wheel/tire upgrade




Next is from the following morning, picking up some new furniture.

Even though mine is bone stock here is the before pics of mine. There will be plenty of upgrades coming soon including wheels, lift a bull bar, lights and stereo......

 

Thank you! Eventually I'd like to add some front and rear armor, along with a suspension upgrade, but taking my time and enjoying the truck along the way.

 

Welcome! I'll be vacationing in long beach island this summer. Any plans on taking your taco out on the beaches there?

Here's my 2012 TRD Sport in Spruce Mica. Absolutely love this color and get many compliments. I've actually been stopped in traffic and had people comment on the color!

 

I've been asked repeatedly at gas stations or grocery stores if I painted the truck a custom color... I love telling them "I ordered it like this"

 

Washed, clay bar, polished, and waxed.
