Thanks man! I looked at old pics the other day and was amazed myself!

It has done me well on this 14,000 mile trip
Amazing to think that my average mpg with the expedition setup has been 21mpg. Worst was 16.4 doing 80-85mpg thru a windy Kansas, and the best was 23.7 through yelllowstone!

Yeah I just took mine on a 3000 mile road trip a couple months back and averaged about 19.5 for the whole trip. That's on 295s with 4.88s and about 800lbs added weight. These little 4 poppers are fuel sippers! :D

Not gonna lie, I was very impressed myself! Before regearing, I was getting 13mpg on the highway, and the truck would struggle to hold 4th gear at 75mph. Was super stoked whenever it jumped up 7mpg! :headbang:

Exactly. I wanted to go where the jeep is sitting, but he was in the way. I made it up the line I took quite easily, though. Didn't bash anything. Tires got great grip.

I was actually talking about the grey slab boulder in the background that is the hard line but good on you for making easy work of it!

Did you see the Steens Wild Horse Herd while up there? I want to photograph them someday!

I did not see a single horsey, and I had my 300mm locked and loaded on the front seat, too. It’s a big place with a lot of water and food everywhere.

I think the best place to see and photograph wild mustangs up there would be later in fall near Wildhorse Lake up there or near springs in the dry Arizona desert canyons of the Navajo reservation or BLM lands where food and water are more restricted. There was also a spring just east of Elko next to the freeway where a small herd were and they had some drinking water, but I missed getting them though.
