It's a great scenic trail, hell I ran it 5 times last summer/fall...I'm just saying that it's not a trail for everyone from Crystal to CB through Devils Punchbowl, especially if you don't like somewhat unstable shelf trails. Couple of pics of N Fork Crystal river up in Leadking basin and one pic of the main falls in Devils punchbowl

I sure did. I did it the opposite way. CB to Crystal City. Getting through the Devil's Punchbowl without sliders is doable but be ready to sweat. I'd do it again in a heartbeat now that I have sliders.

That's the rock I'm talking about, definitely helps to have sliders for that rock. It was used and abused quite a bit last summer and that cliff edge is quite a bit more washed out and the rock appeared to be pretty unstable last time I ran it in late Sept.

Yea I opted to not go that route for that reason. First night of a 5 day trip I did not feel like breaking anything, especially being a solo rig. I don't even have the skids or bumpers to deal with that trail difficulty.

Yup took 2 spotters (one front / one rear) to get me through that spot without touching anything. I ran it early September.

Did you modify a 3rd gen grill to fit a second gen? Is there a thread about this that I haven't seen?

Naw... there's a 2nd Gen Pro grill specifically for the 2.5 Gen, which is what he has, and the type of grill he has.

Congrats! Is your entire yard mulch? I don't think I've ever seen that done before. I hate pulling weeds in my flowerbed so I'd really dislike having to pull my whole yard!
