Cool truck man! Did you make that grill yourself or can I buy it somewhere?

Thanks! Just got those Enkei RPT1's put on and am loving the look.

This was the weekend before Canada Day so definitely more of a party down there than usual. Not the weekend you want to go if you want a quiet retreat, but still cool to see all kinds of different rigs.

Digging this post up from the grave to say this is awesome, I saw John Mayer at The Forum a few years back. The venue was incredible, musically and visually. The balance he was able to get from his band across the speakers are killer.

Hats off to The Forum.. hope y’all get some gigs someday soon Brotha.

Camped out in the Mojave last week, not far from Cima. Borrowed a DSLR to try my hand at night photography.

    DSC02081.jpg

Random edit, over three years later, just to set the record straight: The camera I had borrowed was in fact an APS-C mirrorless, not a DSLR. I believe it was a Sony a5500 series camera. At the time I was under the impression that any digital camera that was big and clunky enough to have interchangeable lenses was called a "DSLR." My ignorance of modern photography equipment was rooted in my inability to afford a dedicated, interchangeable-lens camera as the film era wound down, and more recently sustained by my impressions that cellphone cameras were getting so rapidly better that I'd probably never need to buy such an expensive contraption.

Worry not, though... this trip laid seeds of curiosity and ambition that culminated with me buying my own digital camera in 2021. It also likely shaped my selection, given that I had only ever tried this one Sony camera to date... I wound up buying a Sony a7c, and I absolutely love it!

If you're reading this, perhaps you'll enjoy seeing what I hope is a marked improvement in my photography, interspersed throughout the next several hundred pages here. But also, what the hell is wrong with you, digging through ancient posts on a high-growth photo thread?

Honestly, I'll be impressed if a single human ever sees this edit.

Whatever, the record is hereby set straight!

Hey thanks man, I appreciate that. I'm very proud of where I work, there's so much history and energy in the building. I love giving people a space to escape life for a few hours, there's nothing like the energy in a room full of 17,500 people. I sure do miss it right now.

I'm actually typing this while watching the 'Eagles: Live From The Forum MMXVIII' on ESPN. That second picture is from Tame Impala, the last "pre-covid" concert I produced.

Just got back from a trip camping in Oregon and Washington: camped in various spots from Southern Oregon (Umpqua, Rogue River area) all the way up to the Olympic National Forest in Washington.

Wow! Love your camp setup! I'd love to get myself something like that a little down the road.
