Ophir Pass, Colorado. On the way to visit Telluride. About 12,000 feet up.

 

I was riding that pass on my dualsport bike and had to stop to let a jeep pass on one of the shelf sections, I stopped and leaned over next that wall of loose scree and a good bit of it starting slowly sliding down, it was a slow burial (up to my knees) as I was standing there. Luckily it stopped at that point because I couldn't move anywhere very fast. I was a bit scary not knowing if the rock slide would stop.

 

That's a scary situation. Summer of '22 I was soloing Mt. Baldy near Crested Butte, and on the way down I slipped on some loose rock and it started sliding with me for about 50 feet. Absolutely terrifying. At the time I didn't know that my pistol had gotten jostled out of its holster during the slide, and in my distraught state I stopped hip checking myself every so often. Then I proceeded to step on a yellow jacket nest once I got below the tree line, got stung right in the ankle and limped my way back to camp. Imagine my surprise when I checked my hip back at camp and didn't feel my pistol. It was a rough day.

Thankfully a good person found my pistol and turned it in to the police department. Picked it up a few days later.

we go to epsom mountain rd and camping a few times a year, im going to run the class 6 next time were there (did .25 of it in her crv last time hasha

 

yeah haha i took those shots a couple weeks ago, looks like we're back to the typical freeze thaw repeat for the rest of the winter. Looks like a nice class 6 road haven't been there before.

Seriously though, your truck looks really nice. Lighting is clearly your thing, and you've done a great job with it. I can only imagine what that cost and what it takes to run. Looks great.
