I follow a guy on Instagram and FB who does amazing work. My dream would be to get a tat from him. He’s in California. Here’s a pic of his work

I wondered what he charged. I still love what I’ve seen. How do you know the pics and videos he posts are altered? I would be disappointed if that were true

 

Almost all of the "big" artists use tricks to make their photos look better. His style is so delicate, it'll never last. Take inspiration from his, find someone that can do good black and grey, save some money.

 

My record is 8 hours straight in the chair, save a couple of smoke/bathroom breaks

 

There’s a big deal about prices or was over the summer.

I’ve finally booked one of my other dream artists. Won’t see her till March and booked last year. But the cost isn’t anywhere near that. Hopefully that’s a total price not per hour?

I was curious what Daniel Silva actually charges so I inquired. It's not as bad as I'd heard, but still a significant amount, $5000 for a day.

Karly Cleary, she was a local artist waaaay back before I started going to Fisch, (Alex) and is actually how I ended up going to Alex. She left two days before I walked in to talk to her (she had done several of my friend's mom's tattoos) to film Best Ink. At which point I knew I was screwed. That was waaaay back probably 10 years ago.
Finally reached out I think it was early last year and got in before her latest price upage.

So I will start in march 2024 with her to cover up my lower right arm, and finish my whole right sleeve.

 

I know that has been in the works for some time, cannot wait to see!!

 

Radddd. Looked up her IG, she's got a very cool unique style that'll last a long time and hold up well to aging. Woohoo

 

I've done a 2 day tattoo. Day 2 was not fun at all.

6 hrs was tha longest I ever sat.

 

Never sat in.the chair over 30 minutes, you can see why.

Finished the sketch while I was still at Dow, so I guess 2021? I’d post it, but it means waaaay to much to get snagged. lol gotta wait till it’s on skin.

. Carly or Fisch? Both of them are amazing, Fisch def has her own style, but she’s kind and accommodating for my more “illustrative” style… and I’ve kinda adopted her and she’s taken to me as her body guard when needed. Carly has been on the wish list forever, only other one really on the list is Theresa Sharp.

 

She's incredible. Worth however long wait for sure. Also, actually affordable, well at least compared to some "celebrity" artists. And she's somewhat local to you. Do ittttt

 

Gotta figure out if I want her to do Fenrir, with Hati and Skol or Hugin and Munin
