    Been wanting this tattoo I sorta designed for awhile and finally got it as a 'consolation prize' basically haha it has great meaning too though

    Anybody have any good suggestions or sites to go for ideas. I'm throwing around the idea of getting a tattoo on either one or both of my triceps. Something involving deer antlers that wrap around my arm. Not looking for one with a lot of color or extreme detail, but something simple...Also can't really go below the middle of my arm due to the career I am trying to get into.

    There's really no specific site. I usually just google what I want and build my ideas off of what others have . But, your best bet is to find an artist that you like and express your ideas to him/her. You'd be surprised at what they come up with due to that it being their job and people like that come in on the norm.

    This is my rationale on getting a tattoo. A tattoo, to me, has to have a deep personal meaning. What I mean by this is I don't go for "art" tattoos. There certainly isn't anything wrong with that but to me it has to mean something. My entire family is traced back to Celtic origins. I got my daughters initials on the inside of my right forearm. My daughter means the world to me and that had deep meaning to me. My second tattoo will be a Celtic Cross. Since I am not a Christian (please no debate) and the Celtic Cross predates Christianity. In general it symbolizes four arms interpreted as the four elements (earth, air, fire, water), the four directions of the compass (north, south, east, west) or the four parts of man (mind, soul, heart, body), in various cultures and traditions. I personally like all of those meanings and tend to subscribe to those virtues.

    So whatever you decide make sure it has a special meaning To YOU and not just a fad work of art like a "tramp stamp" or "tribal" arm band.



    Mine once again for reference

    The Cross will go on top of the same forearm but I'll have to wait until the fall because we go to the water park most every day that I'm off and it seems as everyone likes to piss in the pool.
    Don't want to take a chance of it getting infected. Kind of makes you sick to think about it huh?
