    It really shouldn't matter, I don't really seeing anyones arms drastically changing enough to stretch out or ruin a tattoo unless you become extremely overwieght or something. Just FYI, tattooing on muscular areas tend to hurt more than fatty areas.

    Keeping fit and staying in the gym is almost like a lifestyle, so don't base your tattoo off of a lifestyle you aren't ready to commit to, ya know? Just do you, get what you want and be happy with it. I'm in the gym 5-6 days a week. I don't body build nor am I huge (just have a decent build) I just like to lift and stay in shape. I have gotten bigger since I was 15 (when I got my first tattoo) and now it's almost 14 1/2 years later and still haven't had any problems with my ink except for the normal fading.

    i also have a 12" tattoo across my stomach and ive gained a few lbs (40 haha i have to lie to myself and say a few) since i had it and it hasnt changed much.

    Every shop is gonna be different. My guy here charges $100-150 an hour but that's because his work is worth it and he's put his time in over the years. Some places out here charge up to $200 an hour! Hart and Huntington charges a minimum of $100 for everything, even if it takes 2 minutes to do. Then again, it is Vegas and everything is pricey out here, lol.

    First one I got was on my right arm, dragon holding my family crest in kanji. The second I got I actually dont have a pic of; it's tribal on my right shin. I just blasted the tiger on my right chest with waves and tribal connecting it to my dragon within the past month. Same guy did it all does awesome work.

    Also. I'd suggest shaving the area prior to going. They usually just dry shave it, I found it'll cut down on the ingrown hairs that'll drive you bonkers while it's healing.
