Got this last week; pic was taken when I got home. It's from one of my favorite anime shows Assassination Classroom. Right now the sani derm has been taken off and Im in that itchy stage HAHA but putting tattoo balm on it helps. First one I have that has a little bit of color

This one was in 2021..late I think. My first single needle tattoo. Got it to celebrate getting through my marathons and my first triathlon.

Itchy is fun..if it gets unbearable try giving it a light slap, that always helps

My 14 year old wants to do tattoos. What do you all think? Honest opinions please.

First leg pic. She did this on spring break one afternoon for kicks.

    57F978E3-5D26-4196-85BA-1EFD7226282B.jpg

Had to trick her into thinking I wanted a picture of the cat since she wouldn't let me snap a picture of the skin art.

She does all freehand artwork, but would learning on stencil paper be the better route? Let's be honest...this can come off. Real tattoos not so much.

At 14 years old she’s got some pretty significant talent. If she wants to be a tattoo artist, find her a fantastic mentor that will allow her to continue her artistic ways but learn how to tattoo the correct way.

My artist had a 2 year apprenticeship under one of the top guys in AZ. He was hard on him but fair. He also taught him that a good artist does not make a good tattoo artist. He’s now been tattooing for 10 years but tells me all the time, it’s a constant learning process. If he’s not tattooing, he’s drawing or painting to stay sharp.

You should be a proud papa!

I have heard the same thing about good artist vs good tattoo artist.

We shall see. We know a person in Denver that owns her own studio. Might have to hit her up.

Looks good!! I know someone who said they wanted to do tattoos at 16 and they said that having a great art teacher also influenced them with developing their style and finding their way to that industry. They eventually found a shop and a well known artist who took them under their wing. They ARE doing really good for themself, ill give them that. Always busy with clients, great following on social media and I assume they make a decent amount of money at 27 y.o

Fingers sure are a special kind of ouch. I need to laser one of mine and try again. I'm sure that's going to be extra fun
