    RAYS Wheels
    Texas Rider Lone Star
    16x8 +6
    6x139.7
    Date of Manufacture: 12/12/1997

Another 6-lug multi-piece wheel from RAYS. More rare than the Power Volk's, but probably also less desirable. Possibly due to the bolt head style (smooth/rounded).
With a 6 or 12 point bolt head and straight flange outer lips, rather than the original solid rolled lips, I think these could be really stunning.

Had the spare mounted up to see how the end setup will look. Still waiting on the 1.25" bora spacers which will give it just the right amount of poke I like.

Forged center disk; Made in Japan; 3-piece, welded inner and outer, removable faces.

New style face and fastening hardware; notice it's counterbored into the rear register.

High mounting pad, so clears Tacoma brake calipers.

JWL-T, of course. Chrome not in the greatest condition. Will need to be refinished.

First post here. Not sure how the pics will upload. Havent been active on any sort of forum in 10 years...

    1996 extra cab 4x4
    totally stock + jungle flares

    32x11.5 falken rubitrek AT's
    Rays Eng. Power Volk 3
    15x8 +15
Original stickers inside the barrels read a september 1994 manufacturer date.

Bought 3 days before covid shut the world down. Waited 6 months for the wheels to arrive from osaka japan. Then hand cleaned every bolt, bead blasted and had them powder coated in matte triple bronze. All thats left is to install the original charcoal metallic vinyl lettering on the faces and lips.

Took me a year in total to finally get them and rebuild these in my spare time. Well worth the wait.

Thanks! They're Rays duralugs. I had them when I was on Works and didn't want to buy a new set of lugs. Wasnt sure they'd fit the look of the lodios but they ended up working well.

This RAYS model looks like a 6-lug version of the Gr.C / CV Pro. The model name is Power Volk IV, according to the barrel labels. Like the CV Pro, it seems to be missing the centerplates and hexcaps.
This is the first set I've ever seen; a rare wheel indeed.

I just picked a set of these 3-piece Bridgestone Berg-S lll's 16x8 -13!!! I'm super stoked. I'm going to zinc plate the wheel fasteners, polish the lips, and paint the faces black! I want to know what silicone I should use to reseal the wheel.
