Let's see your vintage aftermarket wheels

Saw this on FB marketplace. Someone looking for 16" Bergs should jump on this set for $750.

 

I agree with what everyone else said. That guy was lazy. Find another shop.

 

Are those chrome or are they polished aluminum? I am digging those but I would hate to F up those with the salt they put on the roads here during winter.

 

I was searching to find details of my rims (offset, weight etc) that I picked up a few years back and came across your post via Google.

Lettering on spoke reads: "Goes to an exciting place to live with the king of rough terrain, BFGoodrich."



Condition: 3 out of 5 - Could be used as-is; safe for immediate usage. Structurally sound; no bends or cracks; check valve stem grommets. Cosmetic damage. Lips decent; micro-scratches and scratches; could use polish. Faces have water etching and possibly some corrosion; would recommend strip and paint.

Quoting myself to bring some extra attention to this thread, and to see if anyone else has any idea what my wheels could be. Will be having them sandblasted and powder coated soon. Hopefully blasting all of the paint off of the inside will reveal some kind of identifier.

You're right ... gobs of cool wheels. Have you bought from croooober? Are they legit?

 

Crooober is legit except shipping can be pricey. But they are not shady and you get what you ordered. Yes, I've bought wheels off them.

 

I haven't pulled the trigger yet but have heard the same, they sell all sorts of parts, not just wheels.

Shipping is the rub, you can have them pull tires off and bring it down a bit - most jdm tires won't meet dot anyways.

 

Semi vintage? Here's some OG Volk TE's on my little 5-lugger, not as cool as you guys though...

Thanks man, White TE's are a classic look. These came off a Type R, and figured i'd pull the trigger cause they were fairly cheap. 5-Luggers arent that cool in general so had to give it some umph!

 

I think that truck is badass......wheels def help though
