I propped the wheel on my truck to see what it’ll look like.

Man I’m a sucker for gold wheels and these type of contrasts on cars and trucks. Can’t wait for the rest of the pics when you put some tires on.

I was about to buy tires for my SSR Auswuch. The tire guy was skeptical so he test fit the wheels before mounting tires. Sure enough the dang wheel scrapes the caliper. I feel so stupid for not test fitting them when I 1st got them. Not gonna give up though. I’m gonna recheck how much more clearance it needs. Maybe spacers would help or shaving the calipers.

I had that same problem too with my Auswuch but using a BBK. I didn't want to shave the Stoptech caliper so I opted for a wheel spacer.

Then I found out that I needed to use the 1" wheel spacer even though .75" was needed to clear the caliper. This is because the Auswuchs that I have do not have the relief pockets on the back mounting pad/face of the wheels. That meant if I used a .75" Bora spacer, the stock wheel studs still protruded a bit and prevented the wheel from mounting flush.
(Its hard to explain, but easy to see when its in front of you).

If you use a wheel spacer that doesnt have studs, you'll be ok.... but you'll run into stock wheel studs that are now too short or your lugs doesnt grab enough threads.

If you use a wheel spacer that has studs (Bora, etc) and you still dont clear the stock studs, you can trim the stock studs or run a wider spacer.

If your Auswuchs DO have the relief pockets, you'll probably be fine with the minimum thickness spacer.

@Pookiez31 PM me if you need help.

Those come up often on Yahoo Auctions Japan and can usually be won for less than that. Shipping is also less than $300.

Currently available for sourcing. Send me a PM if interested.

Lodio Drive Garce, made by Super Star Wheels
    16x8J +11
    PCD 6x139.7
    cb 112

Dirty, vintage set but in fairly excellent condition for their age. True 3-piece wheel from the "Off Road World" family of Super Star, known as Lodio Drive.
With some 0.75" or 1" spacers, there's no doubt these would look great on a Tacoma.

Gave my SSR wheels to my brother. He just had them installed on his silver Tacoma.

@savethewheels what does shipping from Japan to SoCal average for a set of wheels? Never bought on yahoo auctions before.

These are pretty vintage. It took me a while to figure out what they were. KMC truck billets, circa 2003. I forgot that KMC even made billet wheels back then. The owner had OMF weld the simu-locks to them. 18 x 8.5 -6mm.

I'm picking them up tomorrow. Not sure what I'm going to do with them just yet. The simu-lock rings will get painted/coated black or gunmetal, not sure what I'll do with the inside yet.
