    working 9-5 isn't the best schedule to pick up classes at the local CC but i'm going to give it a try. Get the basics learned and trying to pick up a used mig welder to practice with on my own. Couldn't hurt.

    The welds I've seen in here are so friggin nice! Great job guys! I'm still learning and this is my first welding machine (Handler 125 EZ Flux-Cored Wire Welder)

    Nothing too spectacular. Here is my mig weld bead when I was making my tubing bender last month. I was using a Miller 350P. Material is 2x2x1/4 wall HREW tubing.

    What kind of soot are you talking about. Have a picture?

    Only thing I can think is the oxidization after welding stainless which needs to be brush or cleaned with a polishing abrasive.

    First welding project ever, (my welds are not super clean I know) borrowed my buddies Lincoln MIG 90 amp which he wasn't using anymore to try out and see if I like welding. Prob buying this machine off him, def like welding and want to get better at it.
