Yep, those are the ST's. I had a set of 265/70/17's. They wore well(40k+ w/20% tread remaining), but after 1/2 tread they ran poor on wet pavement and in snow. They're also about as loud as my BFG KMs I have now, maybe a tad louder even.

Would you buy them again? I'm disappointed to hear they ran poor in the snow & wet after 1/2 tread since I've been considering these...

Sure, I'd consider buying them again. Overall I was happy with them. The wear was definitely good- even and long wearing. Siping them helped the wet and snow traction after 1/2 tread, but it did make them chunk on rocks a bit- maybe the ST-C would be better if you're in rocks? Its supposed to be a chip resistant compound.
I prefer more aggressive tires for offroading now so im more interested in tires like the Nitto Trail Grappler for my next set, but I think if I wasnt looking for a full MT that before I bought these again I'd get the new Goodyear DuraTracs.

You really think the nitto TG's are more aggressive than the discovers? The first time I saw them on my brothers truck I thought they were street tires. But, I haven't seen the discovers in person.

I've been thinking Duratracs or ST's myself... I don't really offroad any, but sometimes get into sticky situations around our place or on my inlaws farm. The stock BFG's gummed up instantly the other day and I was just spinning in 4lo with the diff locked. It finally came out, but these stock tires are ridiculous for something with an "Off-Road" sticker on it! :p

The TRAIL Grappler, not Terra Grappler:

See the difference? The Trail Grappler is a M/T, the Terra grappler is a fairly mild AT.

My fault, saw "nitto" and "grappler" together and added my own terra in there for some reason.

As you can see in the last 2 pics, some rocks in a dry creek bed got the better of me. :(
On the flip side, at least I got in on the All Pro rear bumper GB! :D
