very organized, somewhat chaotic. I dig it man. My personal garage tools are very lacking because all my nice tools/ box live at work. Everything I have at home is just the hand me downs that somehow ended up in my garage. It's very ineffective.

    nothing cool
In high school we had two options: wood class or metals class. Metals class we did stuff like weld, make a tool box, lawnmower engines, CNC, and make a vise. Took all semester but I literally made every inch of the vise. The only part we didn't do was the heat treat on the jaws themselves. I've had that vise since I was 17 years old but never wanted to mount in until I was in my "forever home".

Had a house built this year and figured it was time.

So cool! Looks well done too. I always hate hearing about how schools are cutting the Tech Ed programs first. Looking back, those are the lessons that I can actually remember.

Agree %100. I loved my workshop class. Wish I would've done woodshop class also but at the time I just hated using wood glue, planer, clamps, stain, splinters, and all that stuff. Now i absolutely love wood working for some reason.

But back to metal shop. I had so much fun. It was like my home away from home. After school me and my buddies would all go to our shop (it was attached to our high school) and work on our cars. I had/still have a 66 Mustang. My friends had old farm trucks. We'd put our old clothes on, work gloves, and just mess with our vehicles until the sun went down. Great memories and friends.

I don't really have any bench space, but I have a folding Miller fab table if I need it.

I want to build a bench that both tool boxes will fit under.
