The yellow bulb - clear lens set up is super clean. Nice choice. I've heard good reviews about the Nokya's. What did you go w/?

BTW, my Lexus IS300 came from the factory w/ yellow bulbs and clear lenses.

Krylon Stained Glass Translucent Paint 9024 Yellow. 6oz spray can. Arts & Crafts store like Michael's.

For those of you that change your mind, gas will remove the paint. While the gas softens the paint, use your thumbnail to scrape it off. Don't use a razor, it'll scratch the lens.

I think my truck looks much cleaner with the clear lens. Ima gonna buy yellow bulbs. Anybody have some they are happy with? What are they, 9145's?

Yes, I've heard good things about the Nokya's as well. But at the time these bulbs from Amazon were about 5 bucks cheaper, so I went with these, and so far so good; they've been great!

I went with the Halo Automotive Solaris Yellow 45w 3000k H10/9145

Hella DOT wattage high performance 9003 headlight bulbs, Optilux by Hella XY h10 fog light bulbs, Suntek HP50 tint, AFE Stage II Si intake
i just installed the optilux bulbs tonight. they are very yellow, comparable to the nokya arctic yellows. FYI my headlight bulbs are the DOT wattage hella high performance bulbs, aka "xenon blues".

imo these pictures do no justice to the intesity of the yellow. the lights are straight up yellow, not washed out whitish-yellow like these images show.

Those are how yellow HID's look from the front, and how is its lighting.

The picture where you see the snow lighted, is only with fog lights on, no headlight.

Sorry for the cell quality pictures, and for the 90 degrees rotated picture (can't seem to be able to edit attached items).

I just bought the same one as yours 503trd. Did you have any trouble putting them in the housing. They plugged into the harness without problems, but it seems that they do not want to lock into place. I have an 08 tacoma. I spent quite a while last night attempting to put them on, but was having no luck.
